Frequently Asked Questions

Q: WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START A CHILD IN GYMNASTICS?

A: The earlier the better! We currently start our students at 2.5 years old.

Q: ARE THERE CLASSES FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS?

A: Yes!  Our 3y/o classes are co-ed along with our Parkour classes.  Gymnastics classes are separated by sex/age/skill.

Q: HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT CLASS IS BEST FOR MY CHILD?

A: Just ask us! We have lots of experience fitting each child into the correct class.

Q: WHAT KIND OF FACILITY IS AVAILABLE?

A: The Best! A.C.E.S. is fortunate to have a fully-equipped and air-conditioned gymnasium. Come see it first hand!

Q: WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TEACHERS?

A: Our instructors all have competitive gymnastics experience and understand how to keep your child progressing!

Q: WHAT IS THE GOAL OF YOUR PROGRAM?

A: Our goal is to help each child experience the joy of gymnastics at a reasonable cost without requiring them to devote their entire week to the sport.

Q: HOW BIG ARE THE CLASSES?

A: Class size varies, however, the student-instructor ratio is always 7 to 1 or less.  We try to keep our classes to 5 or less!

Q: ARE CLASSES AIMED MOSTLY AT THE TALENTED CHILD?

A: No. A.C.E.S.' focuses on all athletes equally. For those students whose interest and skills go beyond that, competitive opportunities are available, and we are extremely proud of our competitive gymnasts.

Q: WHAT IF A STUDENT IS ABSENT?

A: If absent due to illness, a student may arrange a make-up lesson through the office. If absent more than 2 weeks in a row, please call to explain, or your place in class may be forfeited.

Q: WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER?

A: If Rogers Public Schools are cancelled due to weather, we will be closed also.  However, if hazardous conditions clear up for the afternoon classes, we may reopen. If in doubt, please check our Facebook page, website or call the office.

Q: WHAT DO THE STUDENTS WEAR FOR CLASSES?

A: For girls, stretch apparel is recommended; leotards preferred.  Shorts or stretch pants are allowed. Boys wear t-shirts and shorts. Bare feet is recommended. Long hair must be tied back securely.
